Feel-Good Fitness, Made Just for You

Move your body in ways that feel empowering, not punishing.

Elevate your Plate® fitness coaching is here to help you build strength, confidence, and consistency—at your pace, with your values in mind.

A pink kettlebell rests on a rolled-out light green yoga mat, all placed on a pale pink surface—perfect for a California-based nutritionist or coaching session.
The image is completely blank with a white background—no visible objects, text, or features—much like a nutritionist or dietitian’s fresh meal plan in California before it’s filled with healthy ideas.

You’ve been told to “just move more.”

But that advice rarely comes with guidance that’s doable, safe, or actually supportive of your needs.

So maybe you’ve tried:
  • Jumping into a fitness class that left you sore or discouraged
  • Following random workouts on YouTube or Instagram
  • Working out hard for a week, then falling off because it wasn’t sustainable
What if it’s not about pushing harder—but about learning what works for you?

It isn't about chasing after the
"perfect body."

It's about learning how to feel at home in the one you already have.

Fitness shouldn’t feel like a punishment.

You’re looking for relief

And yet, so many fitness spaces are built around the idea that your body needs to shrink to be worthy of support.

You’ve probably been told that in order to be “healthy,” you need to hustle, burn more, and push harder—no matter how tired, stressed, or disconnected you feel.

But here’s what no one told you: everyone starts somewhere and moving your body the way you want to is truly the best way.

Here's the wild thing

You don't need expensive memberships and fancy equipment to get a good workout in

Movement isn’t just physical—it’s emotional, mental, and deeply personal. That’s why my approach to fitness is rooted in compassion, personalization, and foundational techniques.

What clients are saying

Unlike some trainers who use the same routines over and over, Melody is very creative

I found it intimidating to restart my fitness journey but she has been encouraging and supportive from Day 1. She motivates me in a friendly but firm manner and challenges me to my edge while making sure I am using proper form to avoid injury.

My core strength has improved dramatically - I can hold plank pose for minutes instead of seconds. I used to have frequent hip and lower-back pain, but it is rare now because Melody has helped strengthen the muscles that were causing my poor posture.

Where I used to be completely winded and breathless when going up a few flights of stairs, I can now power up them with ease.

working with Melody on bettering my physical health was a great help to my confidence and mental health!

Melody is the trainer I have spent the longest time working with, and I enjoyed every session that we had together.

Before working with her, I struggled to decide where I wanted to start on my fitness journey, and Melody was a great help in introducing me to the areas of my body that I could work on.

Outside of fitness and stamina growth, working with Melody on bettering my physical health was a great help to my confidence and mental health.

During sessions, she is excellent at giving you words of confidence to help you through challenging exercises.

Melody is an amazing trainer!

She really helped me stay on track with my workouts and had great nutritional advice. She made me feel like I could do it, and I did. She never pushed, or gave me something she knew I couldn't do.

I HIGHLY recommend Melody as a trainer and nutritionist. You'll definitely reach your goals and get those results you want. I did.

No, all services are private pay. However, I can provide you with a superbill which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please note, reimbursement is not guaranteed.

The great thing about telehealth is that it connects me with clients from all over the United States. I currently hold licenses in Massachusetts, Texas, and Oregon. However, I can work with clients in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming

First off, it is my goal as a Personal Trainer to make you feel as comfortable as possible during each session. I absolutely love working with clients who are new to fitness. Why? Because I love teaching proper exercise form and empowering my clients to feel confident with performing certain movements. I have a judgement-free policy and there is absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about (except maybe my bed head in the morning).

If we learned anything during Covid, it's that we don't need a gym to get a good workout in! Throughout the session, I will guide you through device placement and position you so that I can look for any imbalances. Trust me I can still see my client's form through a computer. You will still get your heart rate up, you will still get a good burn, and the best part is that you get to workout in the comfort of your own home. No waiting for machines, no awkward glances or grunts, and 0 intimidation. If you don't believe me, check out what my clients have to say.

100%! We can utilize objects laying around the house. If you are unsure about what equipment could be useful to buy down the line, you can browse through my product recommendations here (add link to product page)

I offer expertise in both nutrition and fitness, which broadens my scope of work as well as allows me to provide my clients with dual services all in one place. I embrace the individuality of each client and ensure that health interventions are inclusive of their specific goals. My approach is non-judgemental, holistic, and supportive. I am committed to providing an evidence-based, back-to-the basics approach to nutrition and fitness, which helps clients cut through the noise of diet culture and fitness trends to reconnect with the fundamental principles of health. Instead of trying to aim for quick results, I focus heavily on creating smaller, achievable goals with my clients, which collectively sets them up for long-term success.

A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is a food and nutrition expert who has: completed both a Bachelor’s and Master's Degree in dietetics, completed an accredited supervised practice program, and has passed a national board examination. An RDN can provide medical nutritional therapy and counseling. Additionally, dietitians can also help diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Nutritionists, on the other hand, can range from someone who completed a 6-week online course to someone who has a Bachelor's Degree in dietetics. Nutritionists can only give general nutrition advice and are not permitted to provide medical nutritional counseling or diagnose or treat illnesses. All RDN’s are nutritionists but most nutritionists are not RDN’s.
