Hi, I am Melody Sayers

Health is a state of body,
Wellness is a state of being.

EVERY PERSON HAS AN EQUAL RIGHT TO LIVE THEIR HAPPIEST & HEALTHIEST LIFE!

The power of nutrition and physical activity

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, where I attended USC for my undergraduate studies and CSUN for graduate school.

While most my schoolmates were trying to navigate the maze of college applications, I already knew that I wanted to be a leader in the health industry.

My motivation to help others combined with a deep interest in health, fitness, and nutrition began at an early age, which eventually drove my decision to become a Registered Dietitian (RD).

As an RD, I have seen firsthand the power that nutrition and physical activity interventions have on making people feel better about their physical appearance as well as the power these interventions have on reversing and managing disease.

I wish I could help my Grandparents

I wish I was able to use the knowledge and expertise that I have now to help my own grandparents.

They spent a majority of their life with obesity and diabetes and eventually had cancer. They left each Doctor’s visit with more medication prescriptions and sugar substitute alternatives and never received consistent dietary guidance.

Nutrition interventions were rarely highlighted in their care and I do strongly believe they would have had a chance to a longer life with their use.

It is my goal to ensure that others have the opportunity to experience health improvements through dietary and physical activity methods in order so they can live a their best life. If I can help increase the longevity of someone’s lifespan, I am ecstatic/fulfilled.

Nutrition & Exercise

Growing up, I was always active. Whether it was ice-skating, gymnastics, rollerblading, running, volleyball, dance, skiing, snowboarding, or lifting weights at the gym. I loved improving my physical fitness and understanding the value that fitness had on the human body.

I’m a true fitness junkie; you can usually find me in gyms doing HIIT training, snowboarding, hiking, biking, and Pilates.

I also love food… so I understand there is an valuable relationship between exercise and nutrition, and work hard to help my clients to get maximum results focused on this philosophy.
