Nourishment Without the Noise

You've tried measuring your food, calorie and macro counting, under eating, and skipping out on social events due to restriction.

Now you’re ready for nutrition coaching that actually supports your whole health—mentally, physically, and emotionally.

The image is completely blank with a white background—no visible objects, text, or features—much like a nutritionist or dietitian’s fresh meal plan in California before it’s filled with healthy ideas.

You're exhausted from nutrition information overload that you find yourself second-guessing everything

And honestly? You’re over it.

Over the food rules and the conflicting advice.

Over feeling like your body is a problem to fix instead of something to care for.

You’ve spent enough time spiraling in Google rabbit holes trying to figure out whether you should intermittent fast, cut carbs, or buy another meal plan that doesn’t fit your life.

Deep down, you’re craving something simple, sustainable, and realistic.

A halved orange sits on a white textured surface near two smoothie bowls topped with fruit, seeds, and granola—an inviting scene for anyone focused on nutrition or guided by a dietitian’s coaching.

You're not looking for another list of foods you can't eat.

You’re looking for relief

And yet, so many fitness spaces are built around the idea that your body needs to shrink to be worthy of support.

You’ve probably been told that in order to be “healthy,” you need to hustle, burn more, and push harder—no matter how tired, stressed, or disconnected you feel.

But here’s what no one told you: everyone starts somewhere and moving your body the way you want to is truly the best way.
You want to...
  • Understand what your body actually needs (without restriction)
  • Eat in a way that feels both nourishing and freeing
  • Make health-supportive choices without shame, pressure, or guilt
  • Manage chronic conditions like diabetes or high cholesterol without obsessing over every bite
  • Actually enjoy food again—and trust yourself around it

Here's the wild thing

Most people don’t need more nutrition knowledge.
They need support to apply it in real life.

In fact, studies show that people who receive consistent support from a Registered Dietitian are more likely to stick with health-promoting habits long-term—without the need for rigid diets or extreme measures.

What clients are saying

What attracted me most to Melody was her experience as a personal trainer as well as a dietitian

Melody was truly the most important thing to come into my life in a long time. I had never had problems with weight or nutrition - I have always worked out and ate well but in the last two years, something has changed in a bad way and I could not get ahead of it.

I ended up reaching out to Melody and it was the best thing I have ever done.

First of all, she changed my perspective on working out in a really positive way. I didn't realize how much of a stressor my routine was on my life until she asked me to change it while working with her. Even months later, I am so much more happy with how I look at working out now and did not go back to my previous routine.

In regards to nutrition, while I had always been eating healthy, I was not eating in a way to be the best me. Her meal plan has me feeling fuller and therefore happier.

Additionally, all throughout the process, Melody was responsive to all my posts and food logs and informative whenever I had a question. She is incredibly nice and made me feel very comfortable.

Overall, I was very happy with my experience with Melody. I think one of the most important things that came out of my sessions is the increased body positivity that I now feel because of our sessions and the tools she has given me.

Melody Made Me Feel Empowered

Melody and I worked together for over a year, and it was with her that I finally got past what was YEARS prior of being stuck. Melody helped me get to the bottom of the chemical imbalance that medication had created in my body and how exactly to approach my fitness / nutrition to get back to the place I was pre medication.

When I first met with Melody, I didn't even recognize myself - and now, I am back to where I was pre medication and it has changed my quality of life profoundly!

Her approach to nutrition is completely non restrictive - I felt empowered to eat out, travel, and cook all while meeting the nutrition goals that we built together. When my body would hit a plateau (learned during my time with her that my body needs constant change!) she helped me tweak our plan in a way that pushed through stagnancy every time.

She additionally educated me on what vitamins I should be taking, making me feel very intentional with everything I consume.

I will also note that she was so accommodating to me being a vegetarian - previous nutritionists I've worked with made me feel limited by being vegetarian and Melody made me feel empowered.
I can't recommend working with her enough!

I can't thank melody enough!

This past winter, after a doctor's visit, I realized that my cholesterol numbers were higher than I would have liked to see them. I decided to seek out some professional help and found my way to Melody.

She spent the time to learn about what I was already doing that was working, and some things I could work on to become healthier.

She worked with my preferences, my lifestyle, and took my family's needs into consideration. She checked in regularly, and we made changes to my plan as we went.

Now, no matter what meal it is, I have changed my thinking about what I want on my plate, what I want to see in nutrition labels, and what my daily intake should look like. I don't feel restricted at all, just more informed. Months after completing my work with Melody, I have continued to use the strategies and information I learned from her

Melody Helped Me Design an Eating Plan Where I Could Still Eat Chocolate Without the Guilt!

So many diets out there make you think about what you can't eat and what you are missing out on so they really feel like a diet that won't last.

Melody helped me to design an eating plan so that I was eating nutritious food and could still eat chocolate or other sweets without having any guilt or worry that it would ruin my weight loss plan.

She updated my outdated knowledge of food groups and taught me how to really eat healthy so that I was full but not overeating.

I have become more excited about my food plan and sharing the knowledge she gave me with others who have been struggling with weight loss.

The great thing about telehealth is that it connects me with clients from all over the United States. I currently hold licenses in Massachusetts, Texas, and Oregon. However, I can work with clients in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming

First off, it is my goal as a Personal Trainer to make you feel as comfortable as possible during each session. I absolutely love working with clients who are new to fitness. Why? Because I love teaching proper exercise form and empowering my clients to feel confident with performing certain movements. I have a judgement-free policy and there is absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about (except maybe my bed head in the morning).

If we learned anything during Covid, it's that we don't need a gym to get a good workout in! Throughout the session, I will guide you through device placement and position you so that I can look for any imbalances. Trust me I can still see my client's form through a computer. You will still get your heart rate up, you will still get a good burn, and the best part is that you get to workout in the comfort of your own home. No waiting for machines, no awkward glances or grunts, and 0 intimidation. If you don't believe me, check out what my clients have to say.

100%! We can utilize objects laying around the house. If you are unsure about what equipment could be useful to buy down the line, you can browse through my product recommendations here (add link to product page)

I offer expertise in both nutrition and fitness, which broadens my scope of work as well as allows me to provide my clients with dual services all in one place. I embrace the individuality of each client and ensure that health interventions are inclusive of their specific goals. My approach is non-judgemental, holistic, and supportive. I am committed to providing an evidence-based, back-to-the basics approach to nutrition and fitness, which helps clients cut through the noise of diet culture and fitness trends to reconnect with the fundamental principles of health. Instead of trying to aim for quick results, I focus heavily on creating smaller, achievable goals with my clients, which collectively sets them up for long-term success.

A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is a food and nutrition expert who has: completed both a Bachelor’s and Master's Degree in dietetics, completed an accredited supervised practice program, and has passed a national board examination. An RDN can provide medical nutritional therapy and counseling. Additionally, dietitians can also help diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Nutritionists, on the other hand, can range from someone who completed a 6-week online course to someone who has a Bachelor's Degree in dietetics. Nutritionists can only give general nutrition advice and are not permitted to provide medical nutritional counseling or diagnose or treat illnesses. All RDN’s are nutritionists but most nutritionists are not RDN’s.
